Touch Grass, Win Minecraft: Your Steps Could Get You a $500 Minecraft Gift Card

Everyone's been told to "go touch grass" at least once. Usually it's an insult. This time it's a strategy.

With Sweatcoin, the steps you take out in the real world can win you a $500 Minecraft Shop gift card. That's the Sweatcoin $500 Minecraft Gift Card Mini Draw, running October 22–27, 2026, and open to Sweatcoin users worldwide. Let's go!

Quick answer: can you win a Minecraft gift card by walking?

Yes. Sweatcoin is a free app that turns your everyday steps into sweatcoins. From October 22 to October 27, 2026, you can spend sweatcoins on entries into a Mini Draw for a $500 Minecraft Shop gift card. One winner is picked at random from everyone who entered. You don't need to buy anything. Sweatcoin counts your steps and rewards you with sweatcoins. You spend them on real stuff: gift cards, gadgets, discounts and entries into prize draws. You don't need a fitness plan or a gym. Walk like you normally do, and the app counts it for you.

is this the biggest hack for getting gaming gift cards, or what?

What is the Minecraft Mini Draw?

Mini Draws are short, limited-time prize draws in the Sweatcoin app. You'll find them in the Rewards Hub. Each one has one big prize, so make sure to check daily, but we wouldn't want you to miss out the $500 gift card for the official Minecraft Shop.

It's live for six days only: October 22–27, 2026. It's global, so it doesn't matter which country you're walking in.

Would you spend $500 on Minecraft merch yourself? Maybe not. Would you like to win it for walking to school or work? Obviously.

Who is this perfect for?

• Minecraft fans who'd love to fill their room with merch from the game
• Parents whose kids talk about Minecraft non-stop (and the holidays aren't far away)
• Gamers who want proof that going outside can pay off

How do you get entries?

Here's the good news: you probably already have a head start.

1. Walk and earn sweatcoins. Every step earns sweatcoins, same as always.
2. Spend the sweatcoins you already have. If you've had Sweatcoin for a while, there's likely a balance sitting there. Think of it as entries in your inventory, waiting to be used. Sweatcoins you earned years ago still work for draws today.
3. Double your chances without spending more. Watch a quick ad in the app to double your entries, or invite a friend to join Sweatcoin.

No 10,000-steps-a-day requirement. No grind. If the app's been counting your steps, you've already collected the resources you need.

The actual point here

People assume a $500 prize takes a huge effort. It doesn't. Walking is the effort, the app tracks it, and the sweatcoins in your balance pay for your entries. You could win a $500 Minecraft gift card because you walked the dog. That's the whole idea.

And if you're not the lucky winner this time, remember that your steps can turn into Minecraft gift cards every day.
